F.E.A.R. 3

F.E.A.R. 3
Status: Video Game Update

So I first got word of this game from over at www.dreadcentral.com
Uncle Creepy posted the synopsis and such and he can describe it better than I, so check it out below!

"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has just released the first F.E.A.R. 3 screenshots along with a brand new trailer featuring the twisted, paranormal Paxton Fettel. The new trailer features more gameplay footage and dives deeper into the game's story, giving gamers their closest look at F.E.A.R. 3 yet.

Set to release in fall 2010 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC, F.E.A.R. 3 is a heart-pounding paranormal horror first-person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative, and co-op play that evolves the franchise. Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3, but this time her sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, are characters available to play in divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single-player or co-op modes as Point Man, and they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother, Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave. The game is developed by Day 1 Studios, developer of the original F.E.A.R. console games, in collaboration with Monolith Studios.

To further ensure extreme terror in F.E.A.R. 3, legendary horror mastermind John Carpenter (Halloween) and critically acclaimed horror comic and script writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) provided consultation".- Uncle Creepy

The game sounds extremely fun and crazy. I haven't previously played the first or second, so I'm curious. It reminds me of Doom in a lot of ways just with a different story line, but I love Doom. So I can't wait to check this one out! For more information on the game visit www.whatisfear.com

Here are a couple stills from the game and a trailer below so you can get an idea of how fucking cool it's going to be!
